Privacy policy

Last updated: July 1, 2026

Clipsmithery ("we", "us") is an ad-creative studio operated from Quebec, Canada. This policy explains, in plain language, what personal information we collect, why, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in line with Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA), Quebec's Law 25, and Canada's anti-spam legislation (CASL).

What we collect

Why we use it

Who we share it with

Only the service providers needed to run Clipsmithery: Netlify (hosting and form storage), PayPal (payments), Google (Drive folders used to deliver your ads, and email). They process your information under their own privacy and security terms. We never sell your personal information, and we don't share it for advertising.

How long we keep it

Free-ad requests: up to 12 months, then deleted. Client and transaction records: as long as needed for the service and legal record-keeping. Marketing emails: until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw consent to marketing, anytime. Email adriscottbeland@gmail.com and we'll respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied, you can contact the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Security

We limit access to your information, use reputable providers, and protect our accounts. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the information.

Who's responsible

The person responsible for the protection of personal information at Clipsmithery can be reached at adriscottbeland@gmail.com.

Minors

Our services are intended for business use by adults. We don't knowingly collect personal information from minors.
